Kimcha D’pischa
"Great is charity for it hastens the Redemption"
Kimcha D’pischa “is an ancient Jewish custom that has been in the tradition for many years and was even mentioned in the books of Halacha
Its idea is holding a special fundraiser for needy families before Passover in order for everyone to have everything they need for Passover
Kimcha in Aramaic means “flour”, Kimcha D’pischa means “flour for Passover”, to ensure that every Jew has matzahs and of course the rest of the holiday needs.
The Chessed center distributes food baskets and takes care of the holiday needs for needy families in addition to the activity of the stew house that operates throughout the year.
This year we need you more than ever, and this is your opportunity to help and merit the important mitzvah
May we all have a Happy and kosher Passover
